History

What started with a love of the outdoors and working with my hands, quickly morphed into what is now Swan Creek Landscaping, Inc.   Starting in landscaping at age 10, I knew that I needed to have some sort of career that was dynamic, constantly evolving, and most importantly, outdoors.  As A child, yard work was what I enjoyed and loved to do. In school I would spend a good deal of time gazing out of the windows wanting to be outside, doing anything at all.

When it came time to think about a college, the decision was simple.  Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades and a Horticulture major was the right fit.  There, I had the ability to work outside and learn the trade, but also get an extraordinary education that would be needed for a career in horticulture, landscaping, and landscape design.  After completing my degree from Williamson, I decided to continue my education by combining the horticulture degree with a business marketing degree from Salisbury University.  With the education from both institutions, my entrepreneurial spirit was lit and the idea for Swan Creek Landscaping was launched.

In the beginning we had a simple idea.  We saw a need for a landscape company to not only create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces, but to cultivate lifelong relationships.  Our vision to create symbiotic relationships and partnerships is not just limited to our customers, but to our employees, suppliers and vendors as well. We strive to make every single relationship comfortable and easy, just like an old shoe.

Today, I am fortunate to be living my dream and doing what I love.  The passion we as a company have shows every single day and we continue to create and maintain relationships as well as outdoor spaces.  We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our Swan Creek Landscaping family.
